| Tuesday, November 18, 2003 - Chris Caffery to record solo album | Savatage guitarist Chris Caffery is proud to announce that he and Black Lotus Records are uniting together for the recording of his very first self-titled CD. Once the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Tour ends, Chris will immediately enter the studio to begin recording. Many labels were negotiating with Chris, but in his own words..."Black Lotus and I immediately saw 'Eye to eye'. I have never been one to follow trends, I have a clear picture for this CD and Black Lotus saw it immediately. I am very happy to be working with this label. I am so excited for the future!!!" The CD will be released on Black Lotus Records World-Wide in September of 2004. All musicians for his band and territorial distribution of the CD outside of Europe will be announced after the New Year. The CD, which is tentatively being named "Faces", is the first featuring Chris on lead vocals as well as guitar. Be prepared to meet his many Faces!!!
