Edguy have completed the songwriting sessions for their new album, "Mysteria", and have entered the studio to begin recording the CD for an early 2004 release through AFM Records.

The follow-up to 2001's "Mandrake" will feature a musical direction that has been described by vocalist Tobias Sammet as "epic, heavy, [and] melodic," and will include a collaboration with the German film orchestra Babelsberg on an as-yet-undisclosed track.
