Friday, September 6, 2002 - DragonForce news | The release date of the debut album "Valley of the Damned" has been pushed back to January 2003 on Sanctuary/Noise Records.
The band is currently still recording with producer Karl Groom of Threshold at Thin Ice Studios and at guitarist Herman Li's studio.
Here is a message from the band regarding the delay:
"Dear Friends and Supporters,
We would like to apologise to you for this delay. We know a lot of you have been waiting a long time, and many of you since the release of our first demo. We just couldn't resist and decided to spent more time in the studio to make the songs sound even better. On the positive side, this delay allow us to deliver you the album with the quality you deserve.
DragonForce"
'Valley of the Damned' will include re-recorded version of all the songs from the band's first demo (available from mp3.com) as well as new ones. |
