Wednesday, December 1, 2010 - Kamelot Bassist Joins Death Metal Group
Kamelot bassist Sean Tibbetts has joined The Evil Amidst, the South Florida-based "all-star" death metal band featuring members of Malevolent Creation, Hate Plow and Kult Ov Azazal. But fear not, Kamelot fans - Tibbetts will remain in Kamelot, pulling "double duty."

Commented The Evil Amidst guitarist Gio Geraca: "Sean has been a longtime friend and he is an amazing bass player. He is a big fan of our music and has decided to put his talents to use for any future tours and recordings for us. His classical style of power metal should add to the ever expanding sound of The Evil Amidst."

The Evil Amidst recently released their debut album, "Lords Of The Nine". The CD was produced by Brian Elliott (Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains) at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The Evil Amidst is:

* Gus Rios (MALEVOLENT CREATION) - Drums
* Gio Geraca (MALEVOLENT CREATION) - Guitar
* Lenny Warmbrandt (HATEPLOW) - Vocals
* Xaphan (KULT OF AZAZEL) - Guitar
* Sean Tibbetts (KAMELOT) - Bass
