Wednesday, September 8, 2010 - New album due from Brit legends, Strangeways
For melodic rock and AOR fans this is excellent news.
On 15 October a reunited (almost) Strangeways will release a new album on Frontiers Records.
The band, Ian J Stewart, Jim Drummond, Dave (Munch) Moore, new bassist, Warren Jolly and Terry Brock recorded 'Perfect World' at Stewart's home studio in England.
Check out fans of the band's Facebook page for some great photos.

To this day, Strangeways' critically acclaimed second and third albums, 'Native Sons' and 'Walk In The Fire' are spoken of in hushed, reverential tones by aficionados of the genre.
It's a sentiment shared by many. A quick trawl of the 'net will reveal that one or both albums often appear in fans' personal All Time Top Ten Best.

The reunion with vocalist Terry Brock will come as something of a surprise to insiders. While the original split may not have been acrimonious, there wasn't a lot of love lost between Stewart and Brock.
But now this from Stewart : "the relationship with Terry is probably better than it's ever been, which I think is down to the fact that we're both older, and dare I say wiser".

The release of 'Perfect World' will coincide with the reformed band's appearance at this year's Firefest event in the UK.
Two of the new tracks can be heard streaming on web radio, on the Frontiers' site.
