Wednesday, August 25, 2010 - Snowy Shaw Joins Dimmu Borgir Then Returns To Therion
Yesterday it was announced that well known metal musician Snowy Shaw would be joining Dimmu Borgir to take the bass/clean vocals role vacated by ICS Vortex.

Shaw had commented saying: "Yeehaw! I'm so happy and proud to be in the coolest band on the planet (since Kiss [circa] 1976)"

In a strange twist of fate it has been announced today that Shaw has now quit Dimmu Borgir to rejoin Therion, his previous band who he left back on the 7th of July this year.

Christofer Johnsson, the creative force behind Therion, has released the following statement:

"We are very happy to announce that Snowy has rejoined Therion We welcomed him back with open arms, and we will now be making a mix between the new show we had planned, and the last one which involved Snowy. We think the merger between the two concepts will be incredible, and we look forward to taking the band's live performance to the next level."

Strange situation, but it doesn't say anywhere in that statement that he won't be staying with Dimmy as well.
