Tuesday, May 4, 2010 - Heaven And Hell Cancel All Summer Shows | Heaven And Hell have been forced to cancel all summer shows due to the continuing ill health of singer Ronnie James Dio. These dates include several shows at the Sonisphere festivals and a headline slot at the Bloodstock Open Air festival in the UK.
The band has issued the following statement regarding the cancellations: "We have to announce that all forthcoming Heaven And Hell European shows have been cancelled as sadly Ronnie isn't well enough to tour this summer. We hope that everyone understands and want to thank fans and industry colleagues for their continuing support at this time."
Dio was diagnosed with stomach cancer in November 2009 and has been receiving treatment ever since. |

I hope Ronnie gets well soon but you have got to question why these shows were booked when there was a very real possibility this could happen.
