Tuesday, July 25, 2006 - New Overkill album on the way | Overkill's official web site has been updated with the following message:
"Well, it's been rumored for a while but now we can confirm that Overkill will be headlining the second stage on the upcoming Gigantour starting Sept. 7th. DD and Blitz met with Dave Mustaine last summer while on tour in California and spoke about being part of the tour, and over the last few months were able to put it all together. Says DD, 'It's not many tours that would take out an old-school thrash band, so we are really psyched to get out there!'
"In other news, the new Overkill album is just about complete. The band were planning to be in the studio in late August, but will move it to after the Gigantour to start recording, so you may hear some songs on this run. Overkill will be doing headlining shows on the off days of this tour as well so keep checking here for updates." |
