Sunday, May 21, 2006 - Lordi win Eurovision Song Contest | To the surprise of many, the Finnish "monster rock" band Lordi has won the Eurovision song contest! Lordi's performance of their song 'Hard Rock Hallelujah' racked up 292 points as voted by the viewers (including yours truly), 44 points ahead of second place Russian entry, Dima Bilan. You can see Lordi's semi-final performance here. Their performance on the night of the contest is available for download in MPG format here and award presentation footage as well as the final performance is available in DivX format here.
