| Monday, April 24, 2006 - Former Lord Bane frontman signs with SorceryStudios | | SorceryStudios proudly announces the signing of Shawn Ames, the former vocalist/guitarist for epic progressive metal band Lord Bane, to a three-album deal. Shawn has spent the past two years working on a solo album, entitled "The Needle's Eye", which "will continue on from where Shawn had left off with Lord Bane," according to a press release. The CD, which is currently being mixed, is tentatively scheduled for release later in the year. SorceryStudios will also be re-releasing the original Lord Bane album, Age of Elegance, which was previously issued in limited numbers and is still regarded as a rare gem within the prog-metal community. |
