Latest news from Kamelot:

Hi All,

Lots going on this year for the band, we are finishing the editing and mixing of our first DVD "One Cold Winter's Night" that we shot in Oslo this February. It was truly a night to remember for us and we hope all of you. We are hoping for a release just after Summer. I have just previewed a few clips from director Patric Ulleaus and I can say we will all be very happy with the result.

We are also working on our first Anthology titled "Lunar Sanctum", it will be a double CD that features some choice songs from our back catalog as well as bonus tracks and two live cuts from our headliner show in Tokyo supporting "The Black Halo".

We will be playing a few festivals this Summer including Walrock and Ragnarock as well as a special one off performance in the city of Helmond, Netherlands. On top of this we can now confirm the second round of North American tour dates starting in September. Our good friends Epica will be the special guest support act and we are expecting some very memorable nights on this tour. All the dates are now posted on the Kamelot.com site as well as our new myspace.com/kamelot page.

I can't forget to mention that we are starting the writing sessions for the follow up to The Black Halo! We have lots of ideas for this one and the direction would seem to be a little darker and heavier. I will be in Norway again and this time a very quiet and private mountain side cabin has been booked, no email, no tv, no outside influences. We will follow up the Norway sessions with a long session here in Florida and a very intense preproduction with longtime friend and producer Sascha Paeth. We hope to be laying down the final tracks by July/August. We have some titles set aside for the new album but we have lots of time for this. I am itching to get started!! Stay cool and thanks to all of you for your Karma and support!
