| Monday, October 24, 2005 - Tarja comments on Nightwish firing | Tarja Turunen has commented on being fired from Nightwish and says that she is shocked at the way she was dismissed. "I'm really upset. The way in which this was brought up publicly is cruel and sad," Tarja told Finland's YLE. "It wasn't enough that the letter talked about me, but the way in which my husband was also dragged into it is shocking."
She added that she will give her side of the story in a press conference sometime in November. Tarja, who studied classical singing at the Music University of Karlsruhe, Germany, had already launched a solo career. |
