Thursday, July 2, 2009 - Thin Lizzy part ways with John Sykes
Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham has issued the following news:

Thin Lizzy have parted company with Guitarist / Vocalist John Sykes.

Thin Lizzy guitarist and main stay, Scott Gorham:'Its been a very tough time of late for the band and myself, firstly with drummer Tommy Aldridge's injury and now the subsequent decision for John and the rest of the group to go their separate ways. I can only apologize to everyone who has supported us over the years, but we will be back up to full speed soon'.
Scott Gorham intends to announce future plans for Thin Lizzy shortly. All Thin Lizzy shows confirmed for 2009 will be cancelled or postponed until further notice.

Wednesday, April 25, 2007 - Forthcoming Thin Lizzy Limited Edition Paper Sleeve Reissues To Include Bonus Tracks
Osmose will reissue the first three titles from Irish rockers Thin Lizzy's back catalog on June 27th, each with bonus tracks.

Titles to be reissued include:
Thin Lizzy (+ 9 bonus tracks) (1971)
Shades Of A Blue Orphanage (+ 9 bonus tracks) (1972)
Vagabonds Of The Western World (2CD + 10 bonus tracks) (1973).

The band's lineup on all three albums is as follows:
Eric Bell (guitar)
Brian Downey (drums, percussion)
Phil Lynott (bass, vocals, acoustic guitar)
