Monday, September 3, 2007 - Compos Mentis update | News from Compos Mentis:
New bassist recruited
Recently we parted ways with our bassist through more than ten years, Dan Damgaard, due to the fact that we had different priorities in the band as regards the necessary dedication to Compos Mentis. It was a hard decision to make as we have known each other for such a long time but Dan's passion for this particular type of music had faded and with it also his engagement in the band and therefore it had to be this way. We will still remain friends nonetheless and we would like to thank Dan for all the good times in the band as well as wishing him the best of luck with whatever musical projects he might undertake in the future!

Supporting Dark Tranquillity + Sonic Syndicate in Denmark
We are very proud to announce that we will support these two fine bands on the Danish leg of their tour, namely the 9th of September at Voxhall (Aarhus) and the 10th of September at The Rock (Copenhagen). Several of us have followed Dark Tranquillity ever since we began listening to metal a great many years ago so it is of course an honour for us to be able to play with these guys!
DK-tour with Chaoswave
Later in September we will embark on a short tour in Denmark with the Danish / Italian band Chaoswave, an event which we are also looking very much forward to. Another date might be added so stop by the website once in a while to see if there is anything new in that regard.
