Wednesday, July 20, 2011 - Sanctuary Confirm Second Guitarist | Reunited '80s cult metal outfit Sanctuary, which features in its ranks current Nevermore frontman Warrel Dane and bassist Jim Sheppard, has tapped Shannon Sharp, one of the moderators at Metalguitarist.org, to play second guitar for the band.
Sharp will make his live debut with Sanctuary at ProgPower USA XII, the annual progressive and power metal festival, which will be held September 14-17, 2011 at Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia. · Discuss this news further (0) |
Wednesday, May 12, 2010 - Sanctuary To Reform | Warrel Dane has announced that his cult pre-Nevermore thrash/heavy metal band Sanctuary are to reform for a new album:
"Since I have been talking about this in interviews already I should probably just say it... there will be another Sanctuary record, been talking with Lenny (Rutledge, Sanctuary guitarist)... we are really good friends again and it feels good... I missed my relationship with him for many years... but Nevermore is never going away so don't start any more rumours!"
