Band page - Malice

Thursday, November 9, 2006 - Malice Is Back!
'80s Los Angeles heavy metal legends Malice have been resurrected by the three original guitar slingers (Mick Zane, Jay Reynolds and Mark Behn) with Pete Holmes on drums and newfound vocal sensation Brian Allen fronting the band. Immediate plans include European festivals in summer 2007 and a new record on an as-yet-undetermined label.

Says Jay, "We are now writing for a new Malice album and the band intends to be heavier than before. Personally, I'm just happy to be in two of the best true metal bands to come from the USA in the 80s."

Malice are also planning European festival dates for summer 2007 and plan to issue DVDs featuring performance footage shot in the '80s.

On the Metal Church front, Jay states, "The initial reaction to our January/February winter '07 tour has been so good that the tour has been extended and new dates are still being added. The sales of Light In The Dark have already surpassed Masterpeace and Weight Of The World!!"
