Sunday, August 8, 2010 - Boulevard Reissues on Metal Mind Productions
Boulevard is considered as one of the most important arena rock bands in the history of Canadian music. Their two classic albums - the self-titled "Blvd" and "Into The Street" - brought a fantastic mixture of 80's pop and rock, similar to what bands such as Toto, Mr. Mister and Glass Tiger had to offer. Sadly, their career ended with the birth of the grunge movement, which pretty much dominated the entire rock scene in the 1990's.

Today, Boulevard is yet another group of lost rock 'n' roll heroes, whose albums were truly appreciated only after their demise. These exclusive reissues of "Blvd" and "Into the Streets" bring back two absolute AOR classics, filled with prime melodic rock 'n' roll straight from the Canadian soil.

Both albums will be available in new digipak editions, each limited to 2000 copies. The material was remastered using tube technology, digitally edited on a golden disc. Metal Mind Productions set up the release date for 6th September in Europe and 9th November in USA (via MVD).

Thursday, July 22, 2010 - Glenn Hughes To Tour
Iconic vocalist and bass guitarist, GLENN HUGHES, known to millions of hard rock fans as the undisputed "Voice of Rock" will embark on a 15-date UK tour in September.  Formerly the lead singer and bassist of Trapeze, Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, and the forthcoming rock supergroup Black Country Communion, Hughes' blistering near-on two hour live extravaganza will consist of an unforgettable career retrospective.

"I'm thrilled to embark on the most extensive UK solo tour of my career," says Hughes. "I've just made an album that I am extremely proud of with Black Country Communion, and until that band goes out on the road, I'm channelling all the power and energy from the BCC experience, into these dates. I'm a lean, mean rock machine."

Today's announcement coincides with the invitation for Hughes to sing with Heaven & Hell at London's High Voltage festival on Saturday July 24th, in a tribute to their front man, the late, great Ronnie James Dio. Lifelong friends, Ronnie often cited Glenn as his favourite male singer, so it is only fitting that the Voice of Rock will be singing in honour of the Voice of Metal.

Best known for his distinctive style that effortlessly blends the finest elements of hard rock, soul and funk, Hughes has worked with Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, the KLF, members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and more recently with Jason Bonham, Joe Bonamassa and Derek Sherinian for his new rock supergroup Black Country Communion.

Saturday, May 15, 2010 - Yes and Toto = Yoso, a Brand New Band
Frontiers Records to release the anticipated YOSO debut album

Former members of YES and TOTO return with a new band

The term "Super-Group" can only describe the band arising from two of the most creative bands of the past 30 years: YOSO is formed out of TOTO's brilliant lead vocalist Bobby Kimball and the creative force of former YES members, Tony Kaye and Billy Sherwood, thus equalling the magic of YES with the voice of TOTO. However, YOSO is much more than a combination of two classic rock groups. The band's debut album "Elements" - which comes together with a bonus live CD where the band plays some old and new classics - presents a fascinating combination of the sound of YES ("90125"/"Big Generator" era) and TOTO, with a very interesting and original sound that truly encompasses both styles.

"Elements" will see the light of day on July 2nd in Europe and July 27th in the USA, where the band has already scheduled a number of tour dates in support of the album's release, on Frontiers Records.

Even with their classic band heritage, YOSO intends to  become its own identifiable entity in a very short time, YOSO's collective  mission is to make the next decade one where YOSO's music will be held up alongside their classic rock backgrounds as a band as important as TOTO  and YES.

Billy Sherwood recalls: "YOSO was started when I suggested to Bobby Kimball we should write some new music and form a band, we had been working together on various tribute projects I was producing and one thing lead to another, before too long we had 5 songs in the can and were well on our way to making a record and thinking seriously about taking it to
the next level. Once there was a few songs underway the concept grew into the band we now have, YOSO".

YOSO line-up was later rounded out with two amazingly gifted musicians:
Johnny Bruhns as the guitarist and background vocalist and Scott Conner on drums, percussion and background vocals.

YOSO does indeed have the magic of YES and the voice of TOTO. However, in 2010 the band intends to convince fans of both bands that the brilliance of YOSO will be just as celebrated in the years to come.

"Elements" tracklisting includes:
Yoso; Path To Your Heart; Where You'll Stay; Walk Away; The New
Revolution; To Seek The Truth; Only One; Close The Curtain; Won't End
Tonight; Come This Far; Time To Get Up; Return To Yesterday.
Bonus live CD: Yoso; Rosanna; Owner of a Lonely Heart; Walk Away; Good For
You; Yes Medley (Yours Is No Disgrace/Heart of the Sunrise/South Side of
the Sky/Starship Trooper/I've Seen All Good People); To Seek the Truth;
Hold The Line; Cinema; Gift With a Golden Gun; White Sister.

Wednesday, September 2, 2009 - Anvil - reissue of Live In Concert 21/9
For some - a living legend of heavy metal, for others - a long forgotten relic of the past. Either way, there's no doubt that Anvil left a visible mark in the history of heavy music. Their legacy reaches all the way back to the 80's, when the group celebrated their biggest triumphs. Although Anvil's popularity eventually expired, the band remained true to their passion and against all the odds, kept recording new material for years to come. In January 2008 director and huge Anvil fan, Sacha Gervasi (known also as the writer of the blockbuster film "The Terminal") released his documentary about the band, called "Anvil! The Story of Anvil". Filmed between 2005 and 2007, it showcased with brutal honesty Anvil's decline from greatness to obscurity. The documentary proved to be a big hit, winning thousands of hearts worldwide and getting raving reviews in the press. The Times called it "possibly the greatest film yet made about rock and roll". The movie brought Anvil back on the metal radar - in 2009 the band performed on the Download Festival and supported AC/DC on three shows during their "Black Ice" world tour.

This exclusive re-release brings back a truly exceptional live album. "Past and Present - Live in Concert" covers Anvil's most successful period and delivers some of their most memorable hits and is the perfect way to get to know one of the most remarkable and die-hard bands in the history of heavy metal! Metal Mind Productions will re-issue this album on 21st September (worldwide except for USA, Canada, South & Central America).

Bio
The story of Anvil began in 1972 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, when drummer Robb Reiner and guitarist/vocalist Steve "Lips" Kudlow started jamming together. In 1978 the first line-up of Anvil (at that time - under the moniker LIPS) emerged, with additional musicians Dave Allison (guitar, backing vocals) and Ian Dickson (bass). In 1981 the collective recorded their first independent album, called "Hard 'N Heavy". Soon after that they got noticed by Attic Records and changed their name from Lips to Anvil. "Hard 'N Heavy" was re-released through the band's new label, instantly becoming a very successful debut. In the following years Anvil recorded three more albums for Attic Records - "Metal On Metal" (1982), "Forged In Fire" (1983) and "Backwaxed" (1985). All of them are still considered some of the group's best works. In 1987 Anvil moved to Metal Blade Records, where they released two more successful LPs - "Strength of Steel" (1987) and "Pound For Pound" (1988). With the beginning of the 90's, Anvil's popularity drastically decreased and the band faced personnel and artistic problems. Nevertheless, up until now Anvil managed to record eight more albums, the most recent being the self-released "This is Thirteen" (2007).
"Past and Present - Live in Concert" was originally released in 1989 by Metal Blade Records. The album saw the band closing a very important chapter, a chapter which brought some of Anvil's best songs. The LP's content covered both the Attic and Metal Blade years. The opening track - "Concrete Jungle" - welcomed the listener with an intensity that would last throughout the whole concert. The performance, recorded at The Waters Club in Long Beach, California, showcased the band in top form - all their classic tunes were played with amazing energy and feeling. The band presented five tracks from their second opus - "Metal on Metal" ("March of the Crabs", Jackhammer", "Metal on Metal", "666" and "Mothra"), three tracks from "Forged in Fire" ("Motormount", "Winged Assassins" and "Forged in Fire"), one track from "Strength of Steel" ("Concrete Jungle") and finally, two tracks from "Pound For Pound" ("Blood on the Ice", "Toe Jam"). This was the ultimate Anvil collection at that time, covering the band's best and most representative material.
With the release of  the hit documentary, Anvil became not only a symbol of dedication to metal music, but also a symbol of undying passion. "Past and Present - Live in Concert" is the perfect way to get to know one of the most remarkable and die-hard bands in the history of heavy metal!

Wednesday, September 2, 2009 - Believe "This Bread Is Mine" out 31/8
"This Bread Is Mine", the third full-length album of the Polish prog-rockers Believe, is released in Europe today, on Monday 31st August. American fans of the band still have to wait till 6th October (the album will be distributed by MVD).

We are revealing yet another track from this album. You can listen to "Mine" on the official MMP's profile on Myspace: www.myspace.com/metalmindproductions.

"This Bread is Mine" features eleven tracks dedicated to those who like to listen and seek sense in different sounds. The lyrics were written by Robert Sieradzki, a dedicated friend, who is also the author of the lyrics for Believe's previous albums. His lyrics fit the music perfectly and just intuitively reflect the emotions evoked by the collection of sounds. The music itself is a result of feelings and experiences of all Believe's members: Mirek Gil (ex-Collage, ex-Mr. Gil, guitars), Karol Wróblewski (vocals, flute, keyboards), Przemas Zawadzki (ex-Collage, bass guitar), Satomi (violin), and Vlodi Tafel (drums & percussion). The guest musicians included Paulina Druch (cello) and Bartek Zbroszczyk (guitar). The sound mix for the album was handled by Włodek Kowalczyk, Polish producer responsible for the completion of projects of such Polish legends as Klaus Mit Foch, Róże Europy, Daab, Oddział Zamknięty, Dezerter, and Lady Pank. In order to get more advanced sound quality, Believe collaborated with Andy Jackson, prominent British sound engineer, who had worked on Pink Floyd's and David Gilmour's albums. His most recent work was David Gilmour's "Live in Gdańsk". The album is available in two versions: as a standard CD and a digipak CD containing a bonus track.

Believe - an outstanding art-rock act formed by the guitarist Mirek Gil, the former leader and composer of Polish prog-rock legend Collage. Believe's debut album "Hope to See Another Day" (2006) received very good reviews from both media and fans. The follow-up album entitled "Yesterday Is A Friend" (2008) brought powerful sound full of faith and melody and gained them many new fans. In July 2008 Metal Mind Productions released the band's first DVD entitled "Hope To See Another Day Live". At the end of 2008 the band changed their line-up. Believe has begun a new era of their career with a new vocalist - Karol Wróblewski.
